Acquisition: Lower Aztec Avenue, Forest Knolls

In November 2025, CLAM expanded our reach to ensure that larger displaced families would have appropriate housing options. We acquired a duplex on Lower Aztec that will soon be home to two families who need the space and stability that this property provides.

While Forest Knolls is outside CLAM's typical geographic focus area, this acquisition made perfect sense for the families we're serving. The duplex is close to the local high school and includes multiple bedrooms in each unit, making it ideal for two larger displaced families. With modest rehabilitation, these homes will be quickly ready for move-in, providing the room these families need to thrive.

These two units will offer housing for 8 residents being displaced from local ranches, bringing our total to 24 people from the Seashore and Martinelli Ranch housed by CLAM. Every family matters, and we're committed to finding the right fit for each household.

We're thankful to our funding partners for helping us secure this property, and to all of you in our community who have supported CLAM's expanded mission. You're making it possible for families of all sizes to find homes that work for them.
