Acquisition: Tomales-Petaluma Road, Tomales

In November 2025, CLAM acquired a property on Tomales-Petaluma Road that not only provides immediate housing for a displaced ranch family, but also holds exciting long-term potential for our community.

This one acre property comes with a home ready for immediate occupancy, and we wasted no time welcoming a large ranch family who needed safe, stable housing. The property's location near Tomales High School makes it perfect for this family with school-age children who will continue their education in familiar surroundings. With planning approvals, this full acre could accommodate additional housing, multiplying its impact for years to come.

We're proud to share that this property is now home to one large ranch family of 7 individuals, bringing our total number of people housed from the Seashore and Martinelli Ranch to 16. These aren't just numbers - they're parents, children, and community members who can now stay in West Marin.

We're grateful to our funding partners, whose support makes these acquisitions possible, and to our generous community of supporters who continue to stand with displaced families. Your generosity is ensuring that the people who work our land and sustain our community can continue to call West Marin home.
