In 2015, members of the Stinson Beach community approached CLAM for help in buying an 8-unit apartment complex to create that community’s first affordable homes. The Stinson community won the support of the County of Marin and the Marin Community Foundation for CLAM to complete and manage this purchase, enabling six residents to keep their affordable homes and ensuring affordability for the other two units.
