In March 2026, CLAM secured a mixed-use property featuring two parcels that will provide both housing and community benefit. This creative approach to affordable housing allows us to serve multiple families while contributing to the vitality of Point Reyes Station. It's a perfect example of how thoughtful housing solutions can support both people and place, ensuring that Point Reyes Station remains a vibrant, livable community for everyone.
This special property includes a parcel with two commercial units, two 1-bedroom units, and a studio, plus a second parcel featuring a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home. The different unit sizes means we can accommodate both individuals and larger families, providing the right fit for each household's needs. In total, we expect to house 8 to 10 individuals from the Seashore and Martinelli Ranch across these homes.
We're deeply grateful to the Marin Community Foundation for their partnership in making this acquisition possible. Their ongoing commitment to affordable housing continues to be a cornerstone of our ability to respond to the displacement crisis with urgency and creativity. And thank you to our entire community of supporters who continue to stand with displaced families!
