In March 2026, CLAM acquired a 3-unit property that will provide homes for multiple families and individuals who need them. This acquisition represents another significant step forward in our work to house displaced ranch families in West Marin.

This nearly turnkey property includes a spacious 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit perfect for a large family, a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit, and a cozy studio—offering flexible housing options that can serve different household sizes and needs. In total, we expect this property to house between 7 and 9 individuals, each finding a place where they can build stability and remain connected to our community.

The location is close to important community services: just up the street from the Inverness Fire Station and Inverness Elementary School, and directly across from public transportation on the West Marin Stage Coach route. For families with children in school and individuals who rely on public transit to get to work, this accessibility makes all the difference. It's the kind of well-located, practical housing that allows people to truly thrive in West Marin.

We're deeply grateful to the Marin Community Foundation, whose generous support makes acquisitions like this possible. Their commitment to affordable housing is helping us respond to the displacement crisis with the urgency and scale it demands. Together, we're building solutions that will serve our community for generations to come.
