Jelani Bertoni is a member of the CLAM Board and also serves on the Fundraising and Communications Committee. He is a values driven community member who has spent his career working for social and environmental causes in Marin County. He and his wife moved to Point Reyes in 2019 to live with her parents and feel very fortunate to be raising two young daughters in such a beautiful place. Jelani finds the mission CLAM particularly cogent because of his experience growing up in Marin in a low-income household. He and his family moved about twelve times before he left for college so he understands exactly how impactful housing instability can be. Jelani studied sociology at UC Santa Cruz before earning a Master’s in Business from Dominican University as well as a Certificate in Data Analysis from UC Berkeley. He currently works in the solar industry.
