Acquisition: 6th & B

Exciting progress is happening at 6th & B! Following the Marin Board of Supervisors' unanimous vote to approve and authorize the purchase and sale agreement between CLAM and the County of Marin for the property at 100 6th Street, CLAM completed the acquisition of this property in October 2025. Construction is now underway to create interim housing for the displaced ranch families!
This innovative site will provide 12-14 units of interim housing for up to five years; 10-12 standard two-bedroom units, and 2 ADA-accessible one-bedroom units. The tiny homes are designed to offer comfortable, dignified housing for families during this critical transition period. We've already seen strong interest from families at both Martinelli Ranch and the Seashore who are eager to make these homes their own.
The 6th & B housing site represents a collaborative response to an urgent community need, and we're working diligently to complete construction in Spring 2026, so families can move in soon after their March eviction deadline.
We're immensely grateful to the County of Marin for their partnership and vision in making this property available for emergency housing, and to our community for rallying behind this project. Together, we're proving that West Marin stands up for its neighbors.
