Critical Repairs Begin at CLAM’s New Age-In-Place Home

CLAM’s new Age-In-Place home was successfully fumigated in late January 2022.

Critical repairs are underway at CLAM’s new Age-In-Place property! After finalizing an agreement to purchase this multiunit home in Point Reyes Station on January 5th, CLAM got right to work addressing critical repairs on the property, including a new roof, termite mitigation, and a new septic system.

The first thing on our list was to address the termite issue at the home. Preparing for one's home to be fumigated is a stressful process, but we’re happy to say that the homes were successfully fumigated from Tuesday to Saturday last week.

While this was going on, we have been working with a roofer and a septic engineer to get started on these next big repair projects, which will benefit the current residents and also make the home a safer and more enjoyable place to live in the long run.
