Meeting prep: What area of the neighborhood design most interests you?

Small group discussions on Sunday will be organized into three focus areas. Get a head start by thinking about the focus area that most interests you:

1. RESIDENT EXPERIENCE: What do we want this neighborhood to feel like for its residents? What does that look like?

2. COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS: What’s needed in our community, that could actually work at this site, given its limitations? (We are also in conversation with our community organizations on this, to get their input.)

3. LANDSCAPE & NATURAL RESOURCES: What kinds of systems can be put in place throughout the site for climate resilience and a coordinated response to any disaster?

Missed the first Gathering?

No problem! We want your input. Please join us this coming Sunday. If you're feeling behind in the process, here are some resources that can help you catch up:

  • WATCH the Zoom recap of the first Neighborhood Design Gathering.

  • LISTEN to CLAM Deputy Director Stacey Laumann discuss the project on KWMR's Epicenter (interview begins at minute 46:00)

What comes next after Sunday's gathering?

Architects will create site designs based on the community's input, and present them for further discussion at the third Neighborhood Design Gathering on Saturday, 8/14, from 4:00 - 6:00pm. You can RSVP for that gathering by here.

You can always get more info, share your ideas, and give feedback at our web page.
