Support CLAM

CLAM is truly a community organization, fueled by the involvement and generosity of local people and other supporters. CLAM succeeds because of the support of people like you.

Here’s how you can help assure the future of affordable housing in West Marin:

  • Become a Member of CLAM. Members elect the Board of Trustees, receive the quarterly CLAMBites Newsletter, and are invited to special member events. Suggested membership dues are $35. Donations of any amount are welcome.
  • Pledge an amount now to go toward CLAM’s next purchase so that CLAM can act when a suitable property comes on the market.
  • Consider selling or donating your land parcel, single-family home, duplex, or multifamily dwelling to CLAM. Check with your financial advisor about possible tax advantages of selling to CLAM at a discounted price.
  • Donate 1 percent of the sale of your property to CLAM’s “1 Percent for Affordable Housing” campaign.
  • Leave a legacy: include CLAM as a beneficiary in your will or trust. Contact us about donating your home to CLAM while continuing to live in it for as long as you want.
  • Volunteer. CLAM workdays help maintain our properties, and educational and fundraising events help inform the public. There’s plenty to be done!
