On October 29th, 2010 CLAM became the proud owner of one of only 3 multi-unit residential structures in the Point Reyes area. This four unit apartment building increases the number of properties owned by CLAM by 100%.

On February 18, 2009 CLAM purchased its second property, a 1/2-acre parcel with a 2-bedroom house and a 1-bedroom second unit on Highway One in Point Reyes Station. The location of the property is ideal for affordable housing, as it is next door to West Marin School and in walking distance to workplaces, transportation and services in downtown Point Reyes Station.

CLAM acquired its first property in August 2005, converting a 3-bedroom house to two rental units occupied in 2006. CLAM raised $400,000 subsidy from individuals and inherited assets and financed $350,000 with a low-interest loan from Marin Community Foundation. A family of four lives in the larger unit in front, and a single individual lives in the one bedroom unit in back.
